Why cave-hotel access is different
Many Cappadocia cave hotels are built into older neighbourhoods where streets can be narrow, steep or unsuitable for larger transfer vehicles. The booking is still arranged for the confirmed hotel, but the final approach depends on safe vehicle access.
Use the full hotel name
Do not enter only “Göreme”, “Uçhisar” or another town name. Similar hotel names can be in different streets, and a cave hotel may have a reception entrance that is different from the address pin shown on a map. The full hotel name from the reservation helps the driver plan the correct approach.
If the vehicle cannot reach the front door
Where vehicle access allows, the transfer is arranged to the hotel entrance. If a narrow, steep or restricted street is not suitable for the vehicle, the nearest practical vehicle-access point is confirmed with the passenger. This avoids promising door access where a vehicle physically cannot reach.
Large luggage, stairs and slopes
Standard suitcases are normally suitable for the transfer vehicle. If you have oversized, extra or special luggage, add it to the booking notes or contact WhatsApp before booking so the team can confirm whether it fits the selected vehicle. At cave hotels, remember that the last short section between the practical vehicle point and reception can involve steps or a slope.
Shared shuttle or private transfer for a cave hotel?
Shared shuttle is the lower-cost option and can include several hotel stops before yours. Private transfer is usually the stronger choice for a family, group, tighter schedule or passengers with more luggage because the vehicle is reserved for one booking and there are no other hotel stops.
Arrival and return pickup
For arrival, the driver meets you after Kayseri Airport baggage claim and terminal exit, then continues to the confirmed hotel or practical access point. For the return, the hotel collection time is calculated from your departure flight and expected road time to Kayseri Airport, then confirmed in advance.
